ABOUT TWE

We take the time to actually understand you.

No waitlists, no jargon, no assumptions.

Tailored Support

We want to truly understand your world. Your treatment plan isn't a one-size-fits-all template; it’s built entirely around your unique story and goals.

Simple Dialogue

No heavy clinical jargon or assumptions. Just straightforward talk that makes sense for your life and what you're going through.

Flexible Access

We know it’s hard to wait when you’re ready for help. We offer flexible hours and aim to see most new clients within 1 to 2 weeks.

You might be wondering.

Is therapy covered by my insurance?

Many extended health benefit plans cover sessions with a Registered Psychotherapist (RP) or Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying). Since every plan is different, we recommend checking your coverage directly with your insurance provider. We provide receipts after every session so you can submit for reimbursement based on your plan.

It really depends on what you’re working through and the depth of the work we’ll be doing together. In our experience, people tend to see the most progress when they come consistently in the first few weeks. It gives us time to get to know each other and build a treatment plan that actually fits your situation. As things start to shift and improve, the frequency of sessions can be reduced over time.

Start by browsing our therapist profiles and see who stands out to you. If you’re not sure yet, reach out through our contact form and we’ll ask you a few questions to help point you in the right direction. If you’ve found someone you’re drawn to, click on their profile to book a free phone consultation. It’s a great way to get a feel for how they work and what the next steps would look like.

It’s completely normal to feel a mix of anticipation and uncertainty before your first session. A lot of people wonder whether therapy will actually work for them, or what the process will even feel like. That’s a valid place to be. Your first session is really just a conversation. Your therapist will take the time to get to know you, hear what’s been going on, and start to understand what you’re hoping to get out of the process. Coming in with a sense of what you’d like to work on, even if it’s just a feeling you can’t quite name yet, is a great place to start.

ADHD

ADHD is more than just trouble focusing. It can make it hard to manage your time, handle your feelings, stay organized, and finish daily tasks.

WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE:

You might lose track of time or put things off, even when you care about them.

You may start lots of projects but not finish them.

Simple tasks can feel overwhelming, and it might feel like you’re always trying to catch up or forget important things.

Your feelings can change quickly or feel very strong. You might get frustrated easily, feel extra sensitive to criticism, or feel hurt by rejection.

Many people with ADHD feel like they have to work much harder than others just to keep up, which can make them very tired or doubt themselves.

HOW THERAPY HELPS:

Therapy can help you find ways that work for your brain. You’ll learn easy tricks for getting organized, managing your time, and handling big feelings.

Therapy can also help you feel better about yourself, even if you’ve felt “behind” or not good enough for a long time.
